Description
AEM is a high-performance specialty elastomer known for its outstanding heat aging resistance and fluid resistance. It plays a key role in the automotive industry, particularly in powertrain and drive line applications. AEM offers an excellent combination of superior heat resistance (up to175°C+), resistance to automatic transmission fluids (ATF) and gear oils, as well as better low-temperature performance than ACM rubber. In addition, it features low smoke density emissions,meeting the safety and environmental standards of modern automotive and industrial sectors.
Applications
Automotive powertrain: Valve cover gaskets, crankcase ventilation hoses, turbocharger hoses.
Transmission system: Transmission seals, O-rings.
