Description
BIIR(brominated butyl rubber) is a product obtained by brominating and modifying common IIR to enhance its processing and application performance. Based on the excellent air tightness and high damping characteristics of IIR, BIIR introduces active bromine groups. BIIR also boasts outstanding heat resistance, ozone resistance, weather resistance and resistance to a variety of chemicals
Applications
Tubeless tire airtight layer and inner tube
Medical rubber stopper
Chemical-resistant anti-corrosion lining
Rubber parts for vacuum equipment
Shock-absorbing materials, bridge support pads

Advantage
Fast vulcanization speed: The vulcanization activity after bromination is high, and the production efficiency is far superior to that of ordinary IIR.
Better pressure-holding performance: The air tightness is 7 to 8 times higher than that of NR.
Medical-grade cleanliness: Low impurities after halogenation, meeting the cleanliness requirements of high-end medical rubber stoppers
