Description

IIR (Butyl Rubber) is a synthetic rubber copolymerized from is obutylene with a small amount of isoprene. Its main chain is highly saturated with tightly packed molecular chains, resulting in gas permeability that is only one-tenth that of natural rubber. In addition, IIR also offers excellent ozone resistance, weather resistance, acid/alkali resistance, and extremely high

damping/vibration isolation performance.

Applications

Tubeless tire inner liners and inner tubes

Vacuum system sealing rings and diaphragms

High-voltage insulated cable sheathing

Medical stoppers and vial seals

Soundproofing and vibration-damping pads for mechanical equipment

Advantage

Ultra-low gas permeability

Superior damping performance: High damping characteristics enable effective absorption and isolation of mechanical vibrations

Excellent aging and chemical resistance: Outstanding ozone and weather resistance without the need for special additives

Chemical resistance: Resistant to dilute acids, alkalis, animal/vegetable oils, and polar chemical solvents
